Privacy policy

Best Case Studio is a two-person studio (Jon and Jessie McGreevy) producing B2B case studies. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Any questions, email jon@bestcasestud.io.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you email us, fill in a form, or book a call, we collect your name, email address, company, and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Booking data. We use Calendly to schedule discovery calls. When you book, Calendly processes your name, email, and scheduling details on our behalf.
• Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site. We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use it

We use your data to reply to you, run discovery calls, deliver our services, and operate and secure the website. Our lawful bases are performing a contract with you and our legitimate interest in running the studio. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers who help us run the business — Calendly (scheduling), our email provider, and Cloudflare (hosting and security) — and they process it on our instructions. Some providers are based outside the UK; where they are, they rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Cookies

The site itself sets no marketing cookies. Calendly may set cookies when you use its booking widget — see Calendly's own privacy policy for details.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client data for as long as we need it to deliver our services and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email jon@bestcasestud.io and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
